Welcome to MBCoast.net
Myrtle Beach Coast
This wonderful beach town, known
as the Golf Capital, is the heart of the sixty mile coastal
region called the Grand Strand. Myrtle Beach's top attractions
may be the ocean and wide beaches, but there is no shortage
of things to do.

Once
primarily a summer resort, the golf seasons (spring and fall)
have expanded the traditional tourist months. In addition, retirees
moving into the area, people relocating due to the economic
opportunities here, and snowbirds traveling down for the winter
months all combine to make the Grand Strand busy year round.
This is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, and
a great place to spend your vacation!

Golf is a major attraction, with over 100 courses,
and more than 4 million rounds of golf played per year. Boating,
fishing, and water sports are also a big draw, and growing
in popularity each year. You can fish off one of the local
piers, in the Intracoastal Waterway or marshes, from the beach,
or on one of our local charter boats.
Our annual festivals
bring many people to the area each year. The Sun Fun Festival
is a perennial favorite, and so are special events like the
Canadian-American days. Contact one of the region's Chamber
of Commerce offices for the list of local events.
Shopping is a world-class
adventure here
we have excellent outlet malls, upscale
stores, regional malls, specialty shops, art galleries and
antique stores. There is so much to choose from that you could
spend an entire vacation just shopping! But no vacation to
Myrtle Beach is complete without visiting the attractions
this area is noted for. Here you'll find amusement parks,
zoos, racecar tracks, water parks, museums and more. So plan
on spending an active fun-filled vacation, or simply relax
and enjoy the sun-drenched beaches.
Myrtle Beach truly has something for everyone!
